On Sunday the 6th, we make our first big trip out of the house and visited everyone at Silver Lake. Normally, we would have been vacationing up there as well, however, we didn't do our family planning very well. :o) It was nice to get out of the house and get some wonderful fresh air. Miles was able to meet the Silver Lake family for the first time as well as his Aunt Ashley (although I don't have pictures of her with him because she was afraid we was getting sick and didn't want to get too close to him).
We were such first time parents packing up half the nursery for a simple little day trip. When they blow through diapers at lightning speed, however, you just don't know what to bring.

Isn't he the cutest thing you ever saw! What a cutie! I was so lucky to be able to spend some time last week with Miles and Erin just helping around the house and cuddling and rocking the little man. He even had exploding pants for me! Erin is such a good mother too! She is doing an great job! Oma the Great runs around Villa Maria showing pictures of him to all her friends too. We are so blessed! Thanks Oma. It is hard work being a mom, but totally rewarding as well. Thanks for all your help on our first week home alone when Ryan went back to work. It was a big help.
Miles had his first date out with Oma and Pop to celebrate Oma the Great's birthday lst Fri. We went to Mangiamo's and had a great time. He slept the whole time which was great so Ryan and Erin could eat. What fun! Oma
