The Apple Orchard

On Saturday, we took Miles to the apple orchard and pumpkin patch. He slept through most of it, but since I wanted to take him there specifically so that I could get some pictures in the pumpkin patch, we took him out of his seat (which woke him up) for some pics in the pumpkin patch. We also got some fresh apples to make and freeze applesauce, for a couple of months from now when Miles can try it, some fresh cider and homemade doughnuts. Yummmmm. Being that it was such a nice day, everyone else seemed to have the same idea so this place was CRAZY busy. Oh and we also met another baby just a couple weeks old than Miles whose name was ........Miles. Seriously, when we picked that name, we never heard it being used much. Figures!

Still groggy.

A big yawn for the camera while mommy blinks.

Now for sitting on the pumpkin.

I love the expressions in these next few pictures.

We found a nice little pumpkin, which was just the right size for Miles. I think he likes it, what do you think?

And because we felt like we had not yet tortured our son enough, we had to do a few lying over a pumpkin shots as well.

Okay, I'm bored.

What's that over there???

Ooooooh, that looks interesting.

And he totally has your eyes...lol!! You can definitely see it in the picture with him and the "lil" Miles-sized pumpkin! I miss you all so much and hope I can get home for Christmas maybe!

We miss you too Auntie Lauren. It'd be awesome if you could get home for the holidays. I have more pictures to post too, but they take a little while to load so I'll post more another day. Glad you like the pics.

Miles is so darn cute! He looked so cute in his little outfits at Lyle's dad's funeral. I'm so grateful Ryan and Erin brought him along so everyone could meet him. I know it was a long 2 days but I'm glad they chose to bring him. Do you know his great grandpa Opa (my dad) has a hat just like Miles? His Aunt Kate had a lot of fun playing with him this weekend too. She told me she just loves that little guy to pieces! He's a lucky little guy to have such cool aunties!
