Because these two little sweeties are our first babies, we want them to be happy and well adjusted when our little bundle of joy arrives so we attended the Baby Ready Pets class at the Humane Society today to learn tips and basic obedience training to help prepare them. It was actually a really informative class and I would recommend it. Looking at this picture, it is easy to think "How could these two little sweeties be anything but perfect", but when in "high energy" mode, these two can be bounce off the walls (or off of doors in Lucy's case). We have a little bit of training to do to get them ready, but so far they are responsive. We also received a cd of baby noises and cries to help them get used to the sounds. We played it for them tonight and they were totally unfazed. Libby was a little bit interested in where the noise was coming from for about half of a second and Lucy didn't seem to notice it at all. Silly dogs.
